No One Dies From Love if Tove Lo Is Around

Tove Lo, and rockstar opener Upsahl, graced Boston with the presence of the Dirt Femme tour and we were lucky enough to be in attendance. If you’re into sex, drugs, and glitter - this was the event to be at.

Upsahl took the stage with an absurd confidence that only she could exude. The crowd was instantly drawn to her energy, jumping and dancing along with her to songs “WET WHITE TEE SHIRT” and “GOOD GIRL ERA.” She even performed a mash-up of one of her songs with “That’s Not My Name” by the Ting Tings - needless to say, the crowd loved it. After her set, she met every fan who came by the merch table. I think it’s fair to say many people found their favorite new artist at this show.

Once Tove Lo stepped on stage, the house went crazy. Coming out in a fitted metal corset with fake boobs, what could be more appropriate for the occasion? From starting the night with “Pineapple Slice,” to ending it with “No One Dies From Love,” everyone was dancing and having the time of their life. Being openly bisexual, Tove Lo has helped create a safe space for her fans, a lot of whom identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Based on how happy everyone seemed, their extravagant outfits, and “dance like no one’s watching” attitudes - it was obvious that everyone was there to be themselves and have fun. It was an incredible night full of dance, friends, and overall great music bringing everyone together.
